Macaberry Christmas!

It was a snowy day, specifically 24th of December. My parents had organized a Christmas dinner with the whole family, but I refused going, I just went to walk through the street until my bones were frozen. The reason because I didn't want to stay there? Easy, I hate with all my heart Christmas and all related to that ridiculous celebration, full of consumerism and hypocrisy. I came back home, my family was there, having a conversation, I didn't want to join in. My cat Ish came to greet me, but I was in a bad mood and I ignored him. I went to my room, the one that I shared with my younger brother Jared. He was there, and he looked very excited. "What's going on"- I asked him, and he answered "I'm going to sleep now, I wanna see what will bring me Santa. I have prepared him some food, hope he note". I didn't want to continue that conversation, I knew I would end up saying something inappropiate. I remember that before leaving home that morning my brother asked me why I hate so much Christmas, and I was still thinking about it, I mean, something particular. I went to the living room and I said good night to my family. I was very tired, I decided going to sleep, as my brother did. When I went back there he was totally asleep. I got into bed and I closed my eyes, but there was something that didn't let me falling asleep.
As soon as I heard a strange noise outside the room, I sat up and I stucked my head out the door. All the lights where turned off. When I moved Ish got startled and stared at me, he knew I was worried about something. He continued sleeping, and I did the same, maybe it had been somethig created by my imagination. Again. I heard the same noise, and this time my cat did it too. He wasn't as coward as I was, and he went to investigate the focus of the sound. I was waiting him to come with me to sleep again, but he didn't went back. I started to be very worried, if there's nothing outside Ish probably had alredy come. I lay down, I was becoming paranoid, I needed to sleep for a while, I would look for my small friend later...
A mild meow sounded, I fell off my bed. I took a lantern and I got ready to investigate. When I was going to get out of the room, I stepped on something that chrunched, and I illuminated it, so I could know what was that. There were lots of candy canes on the floor. I swear there was nothing before there, but I keept investigating. I opened the door with precaution, and I got into corridor. I heard a very loud laugh coming from somewhere, and I stopped walking when I was something red on the floor. I crouched and what I saw blew my mind. It was a pool of blood, and some tufts of hair...cat's hair. My legs started to tremble, this was something serious. I went to my parent's room, and I tried to wake up them, but they seemed to be aware. I went to my room again, I wouldn't leave it again. I approached to my brother's bed and  tried to woke him up, but as happened with my parents, it didn't work, and that was so strange. I revised the room trying to find something that could tranquilize me, but what I found didn't. The plate where my brother had set cookies for Santa Claus was empty, and there were some red patches on it. Suddenly, a loud bang sounded in the living room. Was that a nightmare? I didn't know what to do, I just wanted to sleep and see the sun again, but there was something that didn't want me to rest. I was feeling angry and tired, I just wanted to end with that once and for all. I went directly to the living room. I knew I would regret, but I didn't care anymore, I wanted this to end. The door of the living was closed, what gave me chills. "I think the door wasn't closed when I was in the corridor before"-I said to myself. When I was going to open the door, an airflow ruffled my hair and I shuddered. Another airflow brought the sound of bells ringing. "Passing madness"-I thought when I got into de living room. The window was broken, as it was the Christmas Tree. It was freezing cold there, but there was no one there. I was going to pick up that mess when I heard again the bells rang, and after that the carol "Jingle Bells" started to sound in the distance. I had had enough, and when I was going to turn around the bells rang behind me. There were some reindeers, and they didn't look very friedly. I didn't know what was stranger, the fact that there were reindeers in my house or that they were going to eat me. They started to get close to me, and I tried to walk away from them, but I was against the wall. They surrounded me, and one of them approached more to me. That reindeer had a red nose, like...Rudolf? But he didn't look as cute as people thought, he had a decandent resemblance, starving body and bloodshot eyes. I didn't want to move, maybe they would stop looking at me and left, but it didn't work. Rudolf kept going forward to me, and as soon as he changed his face I dodged him and the other reindeers, I got out the room and I closed the living room's door. I was totally terrified, I only had two options: getting away from home and stay at some friend's house or hidding somewhere until my parents were awakened. I heard an strange noise again, and I opter for the second option, I didn't know if I was going to have enough time to get away from home. The kitchen seemed a safe place to stay. I went as fast as I could there, and I closed the door before revising what was there. I shouldn't have closed it. I hid under the table, but something pulled me in the opposite direction. When I checked what was pulling me, I felt like my heart stopping for a moment. There was Santa Claus, but he didn't look like an affable man. He was covered of blood (I didn't want to know where did it come from?), and he was staring at me. "Hi boy, you want some joy?"-He told me. His expression was like the one that Rudolf had. What the hell was going on? I didn't understand nothing, everything that was happening was so unreal that I could't even believe it. I went back, and I thought Santa was going to leave me alone, but he was taking something that was lying on the floor. He had taken a rusty chainsaw, whose presence I hadn't noticed until that moment. "Ho, ho, ho, there I go" -Said Santa with a large smile on his psycopath face . He was approaching me, he looked like he wanted to kill me, like the reindeers. "Why do you want me to die? "-I asked him, curious, my nerves were killing me. "Oh dear, you are nothing to me, as I'm to you, don't try to be good". They hate me because I didn't like Christmas. I didn't find that a good reason to end with my life, but I wasn't in a very right situation to complain about it. Before Santa Claus catched me, I left the kitchen and ran to my room. I tried to lock the door when I was inside, I set adjacently my bed, and I thought my brother would wake up, but I was totally alone. Maybe the answer was on my mobile phone, so I took it and tried to call some of my friends. I hadn't coverage. I was alone, in danger and in solitary confinement. What was I supposed to do? After bar the door I sat down on my carpet and I closed my eyes, I really wished that not to be real. The house was silent again, as if no one had been there that night. I took a deep breath and I checked the room. "No more Christmas for me, please"-I said to myself while I  was lying down and closing my eyes to rest.
A few hours later I felt a presence near to me. I opened my eyes, Santa and his Reindeers were in front of me, all with a macabre smile, showing their bloodstained teeth. "This year there are not presents for you...You have been a very bad boy, and you will pay the consequences. Now you are our present, and we are hungry..."-That was the last thing I herd. I felt my body was convulsing, but there was no pain.
I opened my eyes and I saw my brother rustling me. I was on my bed. "Look, the plate is empty! Let's see what Santa Claus has brought us!" Jared told me. I hugged him, apparently all I had experienced was only a nightmare. Anyway, I woke up and follow my brother into the living room. Ish was there, and my parents too, they were alright. Everything was as it used to, no broken windows, no crazy fat man or reindeers. There was the Christmas tree, and under it there were some presents. Despite hating Christmas, there was present for me. It was a big box, and I opened it carefully. Inside that big box there was a note, and what it said was "Ho, ho, ho, there we go".
